Intuitions are not to be ignored. They represent data processed too fast for the conscious mind to comprehend.~Mark Gattiss
The thing about daily practice
is that I increase mastery
exponentially and never
notice. Peeling back the layered
patterns I suspect short-circuit
my power, a daily habit,
just another way to welcome
intuition as filters fade.
Downloads speed as each light I shine
reveals more dark places and that’s
the thing about life. It spirals
undetected, a cosmic joke
too huge to parse. I just gotta
evolve to get to the punch line.
Grow some faith that I can change but
sometimes I forget and rather
than say, oops, that’s why it’s practice,
and start anew, I wallow. And
the thing about guilt and shame is
that I plunge weighty with muddy
shoulds and oughts and need new lyrics.
And the thing about songs is that
we can wake each other with sound.
Imbue our words with intention
to ease release. Let go of fear
and hold the great mystery. Just
sing if you are able, ringing
in the bright frequency here now.
