Solar Click

Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.~Rumi

Sun rising to titillate in a subtle
lingering kiss to the darkness, simply

nuisance on the eastward rush to
answer the civilized cash-call.

We rush past our silent sister
Moon and her proffered knowledge

fades as we plunge into day.
Even the Autumn Equinox is just

an archaic phrase on our daybooks,
though far away in Machu Picchu,

sacred Intihuatana tied down the sun
today. If we could slow and heed

our celestial being, would we notice
the healing sound of now?

Our evolution is here and the monied
interests close their ears, dig

deep into entrenched war and betrayal.
Soon they will feel the sacred

writhing earth which holds even
our Mars-terra-forming escape plans.

Earthling, I’m rooted here and I don’t
know you, caught in a sticky web

but watch as I release my trauma-
taught survival skills, vibrate

with barefooted energy, jubilate our
Gaia-Mother hearts of deep connection.
